Overview

In March, Girl Scout Troop 4159 partnered with the law firm Price, Meese, Shulman & D’Arminio, P.C in a professional womens’ clothing drive.

The clothes were donated to the Women Rights Information Center’s Career Closet located in Englewood. The WRIC provides programs and services to women transitioning from home to the paid workforce following separation, divorce, disability or death.  These programs and services are available to help these women move forward toward economic self-sufficiency.

The Career Closet at the WRIC is a room fully stocked with donated professional women’s clothing.  Low-income job seekers find outfits and accessories so they can enter the workforce with style and confidence.

The WRIC and troop 4159 were very grateful for the generous donations made by the staff at Price, Meese, Shulman & D’Arminio, P.C.  The firm provides a full range of legal services and community outreach.  They were eager to assist the troop in taking action to help the Center and did an exceptional job collecting gently worn clothing.
