Overview
Victoria D. (“Vicky”) Britton is an attorney with over 17 years of experience who concentrates her practice in the areas of community association law, land use law, local government law, real estate and property law, and trial and appellate litigation. Vicky represents clients in the acquisition, sale and development of commercial, industrial and residential real estate. She has represented municipal governments and land use boards across New Jersey. She presents applications for land use approvals for developers and applicants before local land use boards, as well as defends such applications in the courts. She is also experienced in representing municipal clients and developers regarding affordable housing matters. Additionally, Vicky counsels condominium and homeowners’ associations on community association law matters for both residential and nonresidential properties.
Vicky regularly lectures on areas related to land use and local government law. She serves as a Director of the New Jersey State Bar Association Land Use Law Section and a panelist for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education. Vicky is also an instructor and lecturer for New Jersey Planning Officials with seminars focused on New Jersey’s Municipal Land Use Law. She is a trustee of the Burlington County Bar Association, serving as a co-chair of the Diversity, Inclusion and Leadership Committee. She serves as a member of the Moorestown Environmental Advisory Committee. She also serves as a trustee for the Burlington County Bar Foundation and the Somerset County Bar Association, having been the SCBA’s President during the 2021-2022 term. Vicky is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey and speaks Spanish at home.
Prior to joining Price Meese Shulman & D’Arminio, Vicky was a partner at Eckert Seamans where she served as Assistant Municipal Attorney for the Township of Lawrence (Mercer County) and the Borough of Stockton (Hunterdon County).
