Overview
Jacqueline E. (“Jackie”) Lasher joined Price, Meese, Shulman & D’Arminio as an associate in 2017. She concentrates her practice in Education Law where she advocates on behalf of individuals and families. She handles special education cases, disciplinary matters, higher education matters, and guardianships. She also practices in the areas of trusts and estates, providing guidance to clients with their estate planning needs, as well as special needs planning. Ms. Lasher is also an active participant in the firm’s land use and zoning practice.
Ms. Lasher graduated summa cum laude from The College of New Jersey in Ewing with a degree in Political Science and a concentration in Law and Society. She received her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law where she participated in the Center for Social Justice Civil Rights and Constitutional Litigation Clinic. She was also a member of the Seton Hall Circuit Review and an active member on the Interscholastic Moot Court Board. After graduating law school, Ms. Lasher served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Susan J. Steele, J.S.C., in Bergen County and thereafter was associated with a firm in Cranford, New Jersey.
Ms. Lasher is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and the Bergen County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York, and the District of New Jersey. She also acts as a volunteer attorney on special education matters for Volunteer Lawyers for Justice.
